It’s a bit too traditional for my tastes but it’s a solid cherry wood desk and I’m debating maybe sanding and refinishing it. Maybe the bottom black and the tops stained a lighter wood color.

I gotta say it’s super nicce having the giant U desk for space after having a desk that was the same width as my monitor before. It also has spice for a beer fridge behind me which is kinda awesome. It’s also nice being able to turn to the right and do my art in the empty space by the window.

Doggo also loves chillin in the corner.

VERY nice setup, drop down screen, wall mounted rig, not yearly enough people wall mount. Mini fridge and two ultra wide monitors, what more could you ask for?

    Just gorgeous! Love the lair.

Personally I hate the desk, I’d at least paint it black or white or something, feels so off compared to everything else but that’s my opinion!

Other than that it looks good! Congratulations!

Feel ya on it being traditional but these things are literal tanks. I used to have a very similar one at the office and the thing was indestructible plus the additional space at the side was nice for having my laptop / paperwork / etc on and out of the way.

Also if you were ever so inclined one day, if it’s real wood you can sand it and re-stain or just paint it.

Cable management on that wall mount PC is great!

Very nice. I wish I could get into a setup like this but I would feel I’m at work which would stress me out 😂😂😂

  5. I can almost feel how heavy this is through the picture. Props to not breaking your back. Solid set up!

Looks really good this setup scream high end and enough space for PC, drawing, and full meal at the same time

Yeah yo that’s gloriously aesthetically pleasing 💯 🫡

I’m sure I would love everything this desk provides, but I also know I need way more room to move and lean back.

Definitely change the color like you mentioned. Also, I have my PC wall mounted like that lmao

  10. Whoa! Sweet set-up. This is unique… I am surprised by how much I like the old school, ’90s executive vibe but juxtaposed with the modern minimalism of wall-mounting a clear case and some stacked ultrawides. Didn’t think I would like it as much as I do the more I stare at it.

Looks great! A very cozy space

How are you finding the monitor layout? Looking to go for something similar myself, and what size monitors you rocking?

This is my exact dream setup. Professional backdrop and yet you can work with the family and watch movies and such. I hate the idea of a separate office because I enjoy doing some work in the evenings but I don’t want to be tucked away from everyone.

I have an incredibly similar setup with a large executive U-shaped cherry office desk setup. Was in the house when we moved in almost 20 years ago and just never got around to changing it out. But it has worked incredibly well for me, as I’ve worked from home for 12 years now and am on video calls all day with customers, so need something semi-professional looking.

That being said, currently building out a new office in the basement so I’m looking into making it more “my taste”.

Very executive. Looks like you have a nice little theater setup too. Basements are the perfect place for projectors.
