I hope not. One of the highlights of my day is coming on here and seeing 15 posts of people Wondering why they died. Oh, and the mimic chests in the strongholds.
Nope, not patched. you did not fall from a high enough distance. You can down on top the A shaped obelisks and drop at least that far without being downed
By the looks of it you started selfing immediately as you hit the ground (which is a glitch) and a very rare one too. Very lucky but can confirm it has not been patched as I see it happen to 2 others earlier 😂

I think the flower bed saved you. It put you a half meter higher than where the fall damage killed you from.
