Retrowave Battlestation Advice

Hi guys, I am about to finish Uni and move to a new place. I will be getting an L-shaped desk in my bedroom. I want to have a Retrowave theme similar to what I have right now but obviously better (for starters my PC on the table itself). Any recommendations on styling? Like types of LEDs to get, decor, furniture? I need to be able to fit 2 fairly big studio monitors as well (KRK Rokit G4) but am unsure if I should place them on a stand facing down at me or flat on the table. Currently my plan is to get a custom L-shaped desk but I need to come-up with a design for it so any inspiration for that is appreciated. Thank you kindly.
