many games don’t do it, but fire emblem rigs the rng so it acts more like players expect it. a 90% shown chance is more like a 98% chance, and a 10% shown chance is more like a 2% chance. Well, depends on the game. Some do this only for >50%, and the first 5 don’t do it at all.
