I’ve just upgraded the RAM in a somewhat older pc and am trying to reach a target of 3600MHz.
The ram in question is G.skill Tri. Z Neo DDR4 3600 CL16-19-19-39. It’s on an ASRock Z490 Steel Legend and an Intel Core i9-10900k OC @ 5.2gGHz. I manually set the timings and it’ll boot off of just that and pass CPU-Z with the correct timings shown but I cannot enable XMP in any way or change the target speed without causing it to fail boot. Pictures are of the only stable boot using new timings and the settings changed when trying to manually change target speed. Same changes showed when just switching on XMP.
