Bloody Roar games were dumb fun. Sadly as a Konami property I doubt it will ever be brought back.

I used to like Mole guy, Bakuryu. Would love to see them back
And actually feels fit since Konami didn’t have fighting games as of now

What about Primal Rage?

You dam right! Iv’e always wondered why they stopped making them, imo, they are underrated as hell, & maybe I’m showing my age but other than killer instincts 1
there isn’t a cooler fighter game franchise. Changing into animal like wolfs lions & tigers, WHATTT!!!
I’m down for a new game , I just pray they don’t mess it up.

Such a cool concept in general im amazed no one’s even tried to copy the style. They were somewhat popular back in the day

I was a Bakuryu main. Speed wins.

I love the series, played it on Ps1 and the third was one of the first games I bought on my ps2.
I still remember the disk was blue at the bottom 😀

My friend Alexa and I learned how to play this game entirely too well. We learned how to dodge and weave by timing blocks, then punish with mean counter combos.
I would gladly kick her ass again and again if this was remastered.

I will forever dream of a day that this series comes back. It and Killer Instinct. Both sadly in the hands of incompetent apathetic companies.

Yes, I played Bloody Roar 2 a lot! Can’t say I’ve ever been good at fighting games, but I could at least remember some moves and use them on others. Great story, great game. Miss it a lot.
HadesWTF
I don’t think I ever played the first, but I remember playing the second one a lot. To this day, at least 20+ years later I can still remember the exact way the announcer said “Bloody Roar 2: The New Breed.”
Tilin-Tim
Yes! It was my fave PS2 fighting game.

I remember playing BR2 on Playstation and liking it more than Tekken 3 but none of the later iterations impressed me.

I used to own a Playstation 1 Underground Demo disk and this was the game I played the most. I was a dumb kid and didn’t understand how demos worked and so I thought the other characters could be unlocked. After I realized they couldn’t be, I took the CD to my uncle who was “good with computers” and asked him if he could unlock the game. I can still hear the mutliple replay death shouts the characters would go through.
You just punched me in the face with a wave of nostalgia and memories. Thanks OP.

Played so much Bloody Roar 2 as a kid, always an Alice main.

I was a massive fan of the first 2 games. Shenlong and Busuzima player

The unborn, the chimera, and the pheonix/penguin were my 3 vest characters.

Loved this game back in the game cube

I haven’t thought about that game in years. Great fun

I used to like the one guy Jin Long, Shenlong? Was a leopard with an insanely long combo. I remember it took up like a whole page in the PS1 manual. My brother would beat me in this game all the time so after school before he got home from work I’d practice the Shenlong combo until I beat him with it one day. He was more impressed than mad. Really fun game.

Bloody Roar 3’s Jenny the Bat (and to a lesser extent Alice the Rabbit) in her Bat form was my sexual awakening lol. Would love a remake or remaster or just a new installment.

Never owned it, but they had it on one of the consoles at Target that had the demo games to play. We didn’t have a console so if I wanted to play a console game, it was pretty much only ‘while Mom was shopping’ or ‘at a friends’ place’. But Bloody Roar left a big mark on me, even if I only got to play it in those short bursts and crick the fuck out of my neck in the process. I wish I knew which Bloody Roar it even was, but I was *so* young there’s no way I remember enough details about it to distill it. I’d also love to play a modern one, even if it’s not really my genre jam.
yukiyuzen
I’d love to play a new one, but it would have to be a completely different genre. The old games were pretty much Virtua Fighter clones with a couple seconds of furry powerup.
Deiser
Konami owns the rights to it now sadly.

Literally my favorite fighting game of all time. Still remember the Long combos.

First fighting game was Bloody Roar 4 and I absolutely loved the game as a kid. Would absolutely love a remake to the games, but knowing Konami, that will never happen. Thankfully I still got Tekken and Street Fighter to play.

I am. All time favourite fighting game. Shenlong was my main after two. I’m only missing Bloody Roar 4 and Extreme but game stores ask way way too much
