Unfortunately getting the best does come down to the silicon lottery, you either get lucky or you don’t. Sitting above average is a strong place to be 👍 That best could just be 1 single person to ever benchmark that cpu.
Reference: I get 83.56 on Single SSE.
Underclock it’s not just setting the same setting for all cores and praying it works. You need to tweak each core individually.
It performs worse because it’s unstable.
