Saw this on Facebook marketplace for 1000 usd. Not sure about the CPU thou it might bottleneck. Need help on knowing whether this is a good deal or not
Hello Frosty_Internet5465, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Cpu is dated, and you’re right about being concerned about bottleneck with a 3070, especially at 1080p. Monitor is pretty low end, m+k look fine, and the build itself looks great, so points for that.
In my opinion, you could do better for 1k. I’d shoot for a decent 1440p build. Ips monitors at 1440 are getting cheap. I bet you could get really far into a 5700x3d/rx6800 build and find a deal on a 1440p ips monitor for just a little more.
Some people will probably say this is a dead end, and you should build on am5, and they’re probably right, but I haven’t built one so I’m not really familiar with where you’ll land price-wise. Can probably get close with a 7600/7600 build, but my am4 suggestion above has a better card.
