
Any advice on getting GDM off for my setup? I've been trying a bunch of different ProcODT values mixed with ClkDrvStr values but i dont quite understand the cmd setup times. I have a rock solid GDM enabled profile I'll upload with settings.
VDIMM is 1.465v. I tried lowering RCDRD to 14 all the way up to 1.575v VDIMM and it still threw errors so I think i hit a IMC wall or something due to the sudden stoppage of RCDRD scaling with VDIMM. 1.455v threw an error, 1.46v didn't throw any errors, so I settled on 1.465v just so I'm not "riding the fence".
SOC LLC Level 4 shows absolutely no change in voltage. Set to 1.1v, it idles at that voltage and stays that exact voltage under full load so I settled on LLC 4 for the SOC.
Kind of unrelated but CPU LLC is set to 1 with a 0.01875v positive voltage offset on VCORE. This allows for VDroop in multithreaded loads and also allows for a smidge higher boost clocks on single threaded loads, especially with Curve Optimizer. I think the community calls it a "supercharged PBO". I have used corecycler with all FFT sizes per core for more hours than I can even remember lol. I don't THINK this should affect getting GDM off but I'm not an expert.
I have a memory hole at 3800/1900mhz and have tried adjusting CLDO VDDP, VDDG CCD, VDDG IOD, and VSOC because supposedly you can "move" the hole to a different frequency if you find just the right voltages but I haven't been able to boot at 1900 no matter what. I can boot at 1933, 1966, etc but I get WHEA errors like most other ppl I've seen. And I don't know how to work around that to get it to stop.
Also, I should say that I have a mini dual fan 5000rpm max sitting on the RAM, I also have a 3000rpm 140mm Rear Exhaust fan with the fan curve tied directly to RAM temps. I have a Corsair cooling system and use a thermal probe. I wrapped the end of the probe with gpu thermal pad, balled it up and I pushed it between the heatspreader and pcb of the hottest of the two RAM sticks. After comparing with HWinfo's digital DIMM temp reading, my probe is always +-0.5 degrees C of the built in digital reading. I was shocked how accurate it is. But to the point, even with the RAM cooling, my kit hits 43C in OCCT RAM tests;, 46C in gaming session. But I'm also in a warm environment with no air conditioning.
