Oh shit these things are the OG achievements! I was working on a video about them.
Back in the old days, before achievements became the omnipresent thing they are now, Atari issued these cloth patches out as physical achievements
Many of their game manuals came with a high score. If you beat the high score and mailed a photo as proof to Atari, they’d mail you a physical patch as a congratulation achievement
Believe the first one is from Kaboom. Loved playing as a kid. Had a patch o mailed on for that game and for seaquest.
