Burnt 12v pin..
either the card is internally shorted or you have power delivery problems, a few things that can cause that is bad pci 6+2 cables,bad connection at 6+2 cables,card sagging causing a resistive hotspot at the 12v pin, bad psu etc.
Judging by how black it looks, I’m thinking it’s a dead short which is usually a bad card.

Ouch, had the same thing happen to me, wrecked the motherboard, CPU, GPU and PSU
I don’t really know what failed but I have a CPU with dead PCI lanes, the PSU failed later on and the mainboard was obviously fried along with the GPU.
I reused the PSU later like an idiot and this set fire to a motherboard 24 pin connector and promptly killed that board.
In all a very expensive problem.

Jokes aside, it could have been a faulty hardware, it doesn’t looks like something could have physically shorted the card. I hope you have still warranty for the graphics card and the motherboard! (And that any of those are asus lol)
