Better to put the PC / monitor tower against the wall at a diagonal angle. Otherwise, you’re eventually gonna knock that fragile tower over by accident, especially if you’re using a wired headset.

I rock a plastic foldout picnic table for my pc desk, not perfectly even surface but it was cheap and has plenty of room for my setup. You could probably find a decent used chair too!
