Creaks and Machinarium are pretty nice, but not as dark as Limbo
The FAR games are solid. Not much in the way of story but I enjoyed them a lot.

Plus all the games everyone else has already said, they’d go on this list as well. These are all games I’ve 100% in under 10 hours and have great quality but vary in tone a lot lol.

Lil’ Gator Game. 100% in 6 hours, so I imagine if you beelined for plot stuff you can finish it much quicker. Genuinely one of my favorite games.
There’s a podcast where they only discuss short games, called “The Short Game”, so hopefully you can get some inspiration there.
I think they consider max 10 hours a short game with some exceptions (like roguelites that have shorter play sessions) but I think they always state the time they spent on a game.
Alternatively, you can check the website howlongtobeat to see how long it takes to beat a game.
I love short games with the limited amount of time I have and there should be more focus on them as they have less fluff and more “main content”.
“Iron Lung” is very short unique game, it’s on Steam.

Helltaker. It’s free. Can be beat in 30min if you are good at puzzle games.
