I’m running on the lowest graphics settings, since my PC’s parts are old and need replacing (but I don’t have that kind of money right now). Notice how everything in the mirror and all the HUD elements properly load, but everything else is black? All the menus load properly, it’s just the primary visual element. I’m running a 680 (yes I know it’s technically below-minimum, according to CDPR’s old table), but I’m getting a solid 50 FPS despite that. My drivers are up-to-date, I’ve disabled the Xbox game bar, Cyberpunk is given priority in processes, and other games of similar size run at 60 FPS modded, like Fallout 4 (wherein I have close to 200 mods, mostly weapon mods with 2K textures, and still get 60 FPS) or Titanfall 2 (Northstar client).
Yes, I’m saving for better parts, but my low-end GPU still doesn’t explain why mirror and HUD textures are all loading correctly.

DARKNESS IMPRISIONING ME. ALL THAT I SEE ABSOLUTE HORROR
your GPU burned up
I’ve noticed glitches when running at lower settings, particularly lighting. I’d suggest experimenting with settings.
I see the girls walk by, dressed in their summer chrome. I have to turn my head until my darkness goes.
This is why minimum specs are a thing. Your GPU cannot render the game.
Which 680 is this exactly?
I think Rache Bartmoss might be ressurcted in your gameplay
Try other settings, low settings in games can be weird. Also honestly, your gpu is the issue just because some elements load doesn’t mean they should all load perfectly. If I had to guess it’s because the mirrors put your game into a different state than normal gameplay so it loads as a priority. The hud loads because it’s probably the least graphic intensive piece of the game. 680s released 12 years ago, it’s your card and also maybe settings.
No shame, you don’t have to justify it to us by explaining your saving up, life happens. But nvidia itself hasn’t actively supported the card since 2018. It’s just not something you should expect to work on your hardware at this point.
Welcome to Night City.
Me when I ignore minimum specs
you literally got stuck inside blackwall…
The GPU will produce black and other artifacts when getting too hot. Check the thermal environment and get the latest system drivers.
Bruh, you graphic card literally can’t handle it. Stop and come back when your PC got better.
Dude started on Mikoshi
I see a red door and I want to paint it…sorry
That resolution….
The truth is that your PC is unable to run the game and that’s why most of the assets don’t even render.
Where you see a bug, I see added difficulty 😂
The mirror can render because the way they do mirrors makes it much easier to render when you use them, especially on low settings.
You really shouldn’t ignore minimum spec requirements when buying games. I know that means you won’t be able to play a lot of games on your system, but stuff like this is why the minimum requirements exist.
Save up some money and wait for sales. You’ll have something that can run it well in time. Once you have something that can run this game well, you can basically expect most other games to run well too haha
Yiiiikes
Do your graphics card a favour and don’t play this game till you’ve got something better.
Imagine if it didn’t draw even that little, like draw a complete blank, your FPS would shoot through the roof… Yeah, that’s why FPS isn’t everything. First you need for the game to actually be working correctly, then worry about the FPS
The void
Try capping your fps at 30. Other than that you need a better gpu.
A GTX 680 is way too old for Cyberpunk. Frame rate doesn’t mean much, when the old gpu architecture cannot render modern day settings.
Also 2.0 updated the game graphically. The old requirements table is obsolete. The card came out in 2012. You can’t expect it render 2023 stuff. You’d have better luck with an integrated GPU than that 680. The game post 2.0 is completely a current gen game.
Titanfall 2 and fallout 4 are almost 10 years old by now you cant really use those as a benchmark for running modern, arguably industy leading graphics
Jump on GeForce Now if your rig is struggling. It is how I played until I was able to upgrade.
Do you have the game on a HDD? Maybe the game can’t load anything fast enough?
Maybe mess about with the FidelityFX settings. They might help too.
You are getting 50 fps because the GPU is skipping a lot of the rendering. It probably does not support the rendering features required.
Black as night
Black as coal
I wanna see the sun
Blotted out from the sky
I suggest you try playing on nvidia geforce now if your internet connection is good and you have a good monthly plan etc
Yeah need to upgrade your pc parts im afraid ain’t much else you can do besides refund the game and get it later
Happened to me too, updated my drivers and everything ran smooth
That card is far too dated for cyberpunk unfortunately. I’m surprised it didn’t crash immediately. Good on the devs.
What are your specs? Are they equal to minimum requirements?
Buddy your drivers are not up to date. Driver support for Kepler ended in 2021. Your drivers are soon gonna be 3 years out of date. Your GPU only supports Direct3D feature level 11_0, which as far as I understand are the same features as DX11. Cyberpunk 2077 is a modern DX12 title, and definitely requires a higher feature level than 11. Basically, your GPU cannot render the game.
Trying to run 2077 on a 680 is downright monstrous. Put that poor card out of its misery.
