Was Logitech for a long, long time. I’ve heard a bad rap for them lately, but I’ve still never had any of their peripherals die; though my G512 the keycaps wore off and *one* of the blue LED’s failed after “only” 2 years (right as the warranty expired). Still, not bad considering basically all of my peripherals are Logitech.

For me it’s Corsair, I’ve smashed several Logitech keyboards and mice in last 5 years because their entry and mid tier products are straight up shit. Corsair seems to be solid, been almost a year, not even remotely any annoyances. There is mouse wheel pin problem with Corsair, though the fix seems simple, still mine outlasted people who had the issue.

a custom mechanical keyboard (not even that expensive) like a tofu from kbd fans or even a assembled keychron board. quite some options there. for esport nothing beats the wooting atm
a good budget USB microphone from samson, atr, rode or sure.
a good headphone from beyerdynamics (dt 770), Sennheiser (hd6xx/58x) or Phillips (shp9600)
there’s not really any big company anymore that makes everything at once and all high quality.
but there are tons of brands in each market that make better quality products for a similar price as the nowadays more trashy versions or logitech, razer and corsair.

I have a Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless for almost 5 years now. Works great, only downside is the rubber on the sides are wearing off. Only downside is that you need to use Corsair ICUE software for DPI customization.
For keyboards I’m using a Keychron K3 V2 for a year now, not long enough to know how the longevity will be. The ABS keycaps and RGB lights are still like new, but who knows after a few years of use. I might change them for double shot PBT keycaps.

depends on what peripherals. for mice? logitech is still decent and does quality stuff, for keyboards best bang for your buck is keychron probably. when looking at headsets, then almost all “gaming” stuff is overpriced, if u want smth good and “affordable” (depending on your definition) sennheiser. although it also depends what u want extra with your headset, like a integrated mice, LED and similar stuff

I’ve only had razer and logitech. Both are good but I prefer logitech’s overall design and feel of the devices more.
Both have pretty bad software but razer’s software is straight up intrusive. Logi’s is pretty clunky and kinda hard to understand but once you sort it all out and export your profiles to your mouse and keyboard locally it’s perfect. Haven’t had to open the software in a year now.

It doesn’t seem like a whole lot is made for longevity. My Corsair K95 is 12 years old. My best mouse was a Microsoft SideWinder and lasted me 11 years (have had two razers and a Logitech in the four years since it died). I had some old Turtle Beach 5.1 headphones that lasted me more than 10 years (now I have razer kraken that’s less than 2 years old and already crackling). And my Xbox 360 controller is creeping closer to 15 years old.

Idk im using A4tech Bloody mouse if it is used in heavy gaming like wow it last like a 3 years but now days im not playing it and still have 5 year old mouse with no problems.

A *long* time ago, I trusted Logitech; best drivers, best hardware, best “oddball” integrations into windows for their quirky features. Their mice in particular.
Now eh. Something happened and their stuff started to break just as easily and any of the other chinesium you can get. All my “go to” brands have been letting me down in the last 10-20 years.

I live near a great Microcenter. Basically get the extended warranty and return it in 2 or 3 years, their employees don’t even look at the item they just give me a gift card with the amount or return the price to my credit card. Feels like leasing instead of buying.

Honestly? I really like HyperX’s stuff. It probably isn’t the highest quality stuff but it’s usually always great bang for the buck, and the stuff I’ve had from them has lasted a few years.

Used to be Logitech and Corsair for me, but Logitech recently been hearing bad stuff about. My favorite mice of theirs, they no longer manufacture or sell in my area, so I’ve stocked up 2 reserves in case my current one breaks.
Avoid Razer, Coolermaster peripherals and most other gaming-first brands. Everything I’ve had from Razer, going back 12 years, broke shortly after the warranty period ended.

Among the basic bitch stuff that you can walk into brick and mortar to buy, pretty much only Logitech still have some longevity. But it’s still not that great.
I am happy with Keychron keyboards and Audio Technica headphones. But I miss the Func MS-3 mouse, there’s nothing like it anymore.

Keychron. The customisability and longevity is IN-SANE. You can fix up any part of their product without ever needing to replace the whole thing. I swear to god if I see razer, ligi or Steelseries or something in the comments.. These three companies shouldn’t be glazed. Planned obsolescence is a strong one with these and you will see yourself having to replace it the day the warranty is over plus minus 1-2 months.

Definitely Logitech I can Attest that. So far I had to have any Logitech product I bought so far replaced through warranty at least once (one item even twice). 2 different headsets, and two mice.

I’ve had good experience with razer and arctis. I have a black widow TKL KB and 2 basilisks and they are super sturdy. Also have nova pros which are like the best headphones ever made.
All my Logitech stuff has died early – multiple g502 mice, g935 headphones, all junk.

I have a standard 20$ Logitech keyboard for like 15 years now. I tend to have a super bad temper when playing games and I don’t restrain myself when smashing my fists onto my keyboard in rage. I broke my spacebar 3 times already and glued it back together. The keyboard still works perfectly fine. Super impressive imo.

I’ve seen a lot of people hyping their custom keyboards but the problem with those is that they are incompatible with the types of hardware required for individually-adjustable actuation points on individual keys, like the Steelseries Apex Pro (which I use.)
I’m able to set keys in such a way that they are more like “analog” sticks than d-pad. I can set the actuation point to 0.01mm, I can “rapid fire” with the actuation points, etc.
These are all factors in gaming, so if this is not your use case you won’t see much use here, but for those of us who prioritize gaming on our PCs, you can’t beat that sort of tech. It’s available in other makes too (I believe the Razer Huntsman V3 has it too), but the technology is incompatible with the custom keyboards.

For heaphones and microphones, I swear by audio technica. I’ve been using the m50x for about 6/7 years now, I’ll probably upgrade to the version with a microphone when they give out.
For keyboards, ducky or keychron are both damn good. Their newer models are hotswappable, makes em a lot easier to repair or upgrade.
For mice, good luck. My old go to was logitech, but their mice are garbage now. Avoid razer anything like the plague. Maybe steelseries?

Man this is for me at least an easy choice. I’ve been using Logitech for like 15years and it’s just been what’s worked for me for all that time. I have on accordion used Razor and Corsair but always came back to Logitech. My 2 steering wheels, Logitech, wired g502 gaming and hero, 2 trackballs, wireless g502, wireless and wired gaming and non gaming keyboards, lughtsync speakers and their older 5.1 and 7.1 sets. Headsets both wired and wireless. All Logitech. Stuff just works well and lasts.
