Playing Ghost of Tsushima now gives me the same sense of wonder and eager to explore the world as Skyrim gave me back when i was a kid. Most of games nowdays i just play it to beat and go to the next, with this one, i just want to lose myself into the world.

Playing for the first time this week. The world is very nice to spend time in. Not hyper realistic but stylistically , very pleasing to look at and well crafted. Nice bits of environmental storytelling too that remind you the brutal invasion is an omnipresent threat.
Played it recently for the first time, although something about it’s world in some areas feels a bit too simple visually, still very pleasing, a very beautiful world to get lost in. The foxes, the shrines, everything is so pleasing and fun to do between missions.
You don’t feel the need to rush things, i bowed to everyone and everything😂 and there is actually a reaction to when you do it. From Jin bowing to death innocent bodies, or thanking an animal for his sacrifice, all the way to story characters reacting to a bow with a “ha’ a samurai bowing to a raider, now I’ve seen everything”. Even when you bow to important graves, there’s something special happening. It is the most badass and yet cute game I’ve ever played all in the same game, and that’s rather unique.
Such an incredible game, highly recommended!
It certainly is one of those games you can get lost in for a while.
I’m struggling with some of the clunky combat personally. I hate how I can’t roll off a ledge/small drop off. So far it’s pretty solid but coming directly from Cyberpunk, it feels like a step down. Slightly worse graphics and a very inorganic questlines.
I’m still moving through it but it’s not very exciting.
Gives witcher 3 graphics a run for its money in terms of how beautiful it looks
Pleasing to look at but dull to actually do things in
Oh come on, Skyrim’s not _that_ old <checks notes> oh goddammit.
Did they update and fix the glitch that was happening on playstation?
Is this worth to play, I’ve played games like Elden Ring and RDR2 and gotten 100% in both and need new games
Usually I have neither time nor willingness to “platinum” games and complete all the content, but with Ghost of Tsushima it just kind of happened naturally. I was so lost in its world and invested in all the side quests that I 100 percented it without even trying… And then I spent like 60 more hours in Legends mode.
What a marvel of a game.
That’s really nice. I really enjoyed the initial story and presentation, but once you entered the open world I lost all motivation to play.
There’s not really anything to find. I got tired of exploring pretty quickly.
I will give it a try. It is looking cool. 😃😃
I hard disagree, while the game is beautiful, I find the open world lacking in exploration, everything is either handed to you or serves almost no purpose
I was like that too, especially on an open world game. But like all open world game, I will get burn out and not finish the game
. Except Red dead redemtption 2 & Witcher 3!
