Not only we have to wait until mid-season to get this one tiny piece of content, but only one team can access it per game? And this is all we're getting for the season??????
I mean there's letting a game die, but they're straight up murdering it.
Remember when someone said they're cooking for MWZ? I truly think they meant they're burning it to a crisp

yup I been saying zombies is trash all I go in there for is level weapon weekly challenges. then I go back to dmz

The ability to go through Unstable Rifts will not be limited to one team per game. Each rift will only be accessible by the first team to reach it but there will be multiple rifts that appear in each game. This means that, even if another team beats you to a rift, there will be other rifts to go through.
It’s a tacked on low effort mode. Activision doesn’t care.
Treyarch announced in conference call at the beginning of April that the team working on MWZ was has moved off it to focus on the 2024 game and Sledgehammer was taking over.
The usual COD development debacle rears its head again as Sledgehammer is likely just going to keep the Treyarch Zombies/Infinity Ward DMZ mishmash afloat until the end.
Not just 1 squad per game cause multiple portals will spawn per match. At least, it’s what it sounds like per the description. Also, the reward seems very good, like resetting all schematics cooldowns? That addresses something being complained about since the game release. Not following the standards of previous seasons as low as they already were sucks, but then again, MP is eating good, and anyone who purchased this game exclusively for zombies was at the very minimum dumb.

Oh yeah yeah, I guess you guys are right. There ARE zombies in this game, I had a hard time believing it. Not that I would ever play that, but it *exists* yeah.
EDIT: just been told by multiple people It’s not just one rift that opens which means multiple people can enter this new mode. Sorry for any confusion
