    edit – Not that I did much with it then. Played CS for a few months then went a couple of years with no Internet. I didn’t come back until the orange box in 07.

    My first account was playing CS 1.6 in 2003 dawg. My current one is quite a bit newer because I cannot remember my old password for the life of me.

    Mine is 17 which isn’t that old. I resisted steam for a long time since I thought that having to use a launcher to start a game was retarded. The Orange box finally forced me to begrudgingly accept steam.

    Mine says Sep 12, 2003 at 1:28am. My user ID suggests that there are at least 16,000 people before me. I think friends and family could create accounts well before Sept 12.

    2009, however what makes it interesting is that I was gifted a game (Football manager 2009) in physical format (DVD), and during the game installation it forced/offered to install steam and create an account, so I got steam accidentally not even knowing what it was.
