We’re in a golden age of gaming. Zelda: Majora’s Mask now has a PC port that can be played in proper widescreen, with 144+ fps, and gyro aiming. Can’t wait to see this bad boy with ray tracing and hd textures!

So, the “Golden Age” of gaming means playing a 24 year old game??

I sure hope things don’t get any better or we might have to play Pong!

Seeing OOT or MM in running at 60 or more fps feels really weird. It feels like watching those interpolated 60fps animations.

I heard about this. Ocarina is probably next. That said… it sometimes looks awful lol. It’s quite the accomplishment, but aesthetically, it’s rough. The low resolution displays these games were made for really helped blend those super low res textures together so that they didn’t look out of place.

I’ve seen some methods for dealing with it, like CRT filters using ReShade, outputting in low resolution with MSAA for like an original+ look, etc. It should be interesting to see how best these recomps can be configured to reach a visual compromise.

No thanks, I beat that game back in 2000 and donโ€™t want my memory of that classic experience tampered with. Iโ€™d rather work on my backlog.

A game from what 2001 can have wide screen support but Bethesda broke wide-screen support on fallout 4 ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I only have one question and one thing I care about: original MM or 3D MM? There are things that 3D did better but damn did they butcher the bosses in it. I especially hate the 3D Gyorg fight.

I personally donโ€™t want HD textures, they always end up changing the feel of the game to me. (Especially when AI upscaled) I do think ray tracing will be a huge upgrade though, and Iโ€™d love an HD HUD!
