Well… in the process need to manage your cables, did you do that?
Don’t know if you’re in the left or right

At some point, you stop caring and just let it be.

The only thing I can think of is you’re like me and work in IT so you just don’t care about how your pc looks anymore. I’ve built $200k servers up so now my $2k pc isn’t that impressive. It does what I need it to do and then some but Idgaf how it looks anymore. End of the day it’s a big black box on my desk

aesthetics aside, having a lot of cables in the way will interfere with proper airflow, and can even get stuck in some fan and either make horrible noise, or stop the fan completely, potentially killing it.

So many people have this pseudo OCD going on.
You **need** to cable manage.
You **need** to use IPA to clean anything.
You **need** a microfiber cloth to clean your screen.
You **need** … Whatever.
Meanwhile DIY PCs were build for decades before any of that became important.

Not a single pc thats ours in the shop has a side panel or any hint of cable management besides a few zipties on useless leads. Molex connectors mostly

Cable management is not that important. But it’s really not hard whatsoever to do. You’re either just lazy or incapable xD

So by the one axis saying that the IQ is going from a low number to a higher one, there must be cable management for that to happen, got it!

My pc is business in the front, and a party in the back
I’ve left extra cables plugged into my psu and motherboard that do not connect to anything, just so I’ll have an easier time in the future if I need it

Me: My PC is a mess… I can see the backside in my head.
As long as they don’t hit any fans, the back panel closes and nothing is bent in awkward angles i don’t care to do more. No one sees behind the back panel anyways. Undoing it is a pain anyways if you need to do something to the computer

As long as the wiring doesn’t block airflow, I don’t care. https://i.imgur.com/P3QCFUJ.jpg
