I tend to get in more game time than most people my age, but never late/overnight. Gotta be up at 6am for work.

Instead of counting sheep, i count the games I have in my steam library. I usually get to around 120 before I fall asleep
This was literally me yesterday, one round of helldivers 2 between studying.
I usually get 2-3 hours of game time before i have to go to sleep so i don’t come late to work.
In the adult’s defense, at this point we’ve seen every plot and experienced every style of game. Plus ads, skinner boxes, and micro transactions.

I’m late 30’s and still play games online with friends until 3am on Friday night. Usually I have to force myself to go to bed.
During the week though I don’t really play much and never past 10pm if I do.
I feel more like the kid these days other than the weekend. My wife makes me come to bed basically. If im not in bed by 1am she get pissed usually. I used to stay up till 3-4am regularly.

I still have the same passion for gaming as when I was younger, but post 40 me needs a reasonable bedtime too..
That’s why I’m switching to a remote job in 2025. Need more time to play. Screw adlut life, shit’s not for me.
