Please, give any feedback regarding results. I am not native English speaker – sorry for mistakes in advance. I did it just for fun and was surprised to overcome some i5-1235U and i7-1255U in Geekbench v6 results by modded i3-1215U on a budget laptop.
TL:DR;
What was done:
Mechanical changes are next: I doubled heatsink volume, added 4 extra copper heat pipes, cut some parts of fan case to move it closer to battery, cut window for cool air and covered it with a net. Replaced thermal paste with a lot of artic cooling MX-6.
I didn't change anything with standard heatpipe and heatsink.
From software side I used ThrottleStop where I lowered throttle temperature to 85°C, increased max constant power up to 35W (PL1) and short term max to 43W (PL2). Other things left by default and added ThrottleStop as automatic task on login to windows system.
