I booted BeamNG drive and I my pc shut off and smelled like fire, replaces it with a spare card and it booted up again. I used it all the way from 2017 till today RIP.

Did it die? Mine is still chugging along like a soldier.

Put some new thermal paste. That happen to me way back with the 660ti. After I reapplied new thermal paste, like new again.

  3. What PSU do you have? I wonder if it failed/is failing and took out your GPU?

Have EXACTLY the same card. It’s still a badass card that has yet to let me down. I dread the day it dies.. Coz honestly, I just cannot afford these new car paymen.. Erm, GPU prices.

  7. Mine is still going as well and I have never been happier with a computer related purchase in my life.

Still going strong. Most of my games I play at 1080p low and are at 300+ FPS. Barely play new games at all.

Only the next Battlefield game will require me to upgrade πŸ™‚

Mine still runs but I’d be lying if I wasn’t looking for a solid upgrade at a reasonable price. RIP

Recently just upgraded mine since it came out. Best card I’ve ever hands down.

My MSI armor GTX 1080still going strong

Someone said the TI performs like a 3060 without RTX, have GPU upgrades really been that big of a nothing burger these last few years?

I miss those tiny cards of yesteryear.

I’m about to repaste and repad my 1080Ti. My 8700k is overheating more than my GPU… I don’t want to upgrade until this card dies, but I want to have the budget put aside for when it does.
