I mean for 600$, its more than worth it. You’re paying that for the gpu and get free pc on top of it.
Atlesi_Feyst
Good price for the setup.
The 4070ti is probably OEM but it’s still the same performance.
Eazy12345678
$600 sounds like a scam.
Pumciusz
For that price you can just get the gpu cpu and ssd and sell everything else for cheap and still be on top. Unless this is a scam – the gpu is only a year old why are they selling it now?
jdm121500
If it’s somehow not a scam BUY IT. Nothing else will come close to that for $600.
DEATHROAR12345
I’m still against it, because if anything has a problem good luck opening it up and putting it back together correctly. Plus if you want to upgrade a part later you likely won’t be able to do so.
Educational_Duck3393
Yeah that’s a killer dealio for that price.
NaughtyPwny
Why would you list an active auction price? lol that is very misleading
Trippyfirestick
1 word, bloatware
Previous_Fold_8835
Any update on if the price changed so far? I know these bids can change alot last minute so i dont know when the auction ends but sounds like you might get lucky.
34Loafs
It’s good
Badger_Joe
Buy it for the parts then sell the gutted carcass
iena2003
Did you get it?
Swendsen
Buying it, keeping the GPU and selling the rest of the system to fund a more agreeable build would be a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
CrunchyJeans
For 500 it’s a good deal, so long as you take out the front oval thing for proper airflow
Hakairoku
From the GN breakdown, the only thing that’s usually trash with their premades is the proprietary mobo and the oven of a case.
You could probably salvage the cooling issue that comes with this case with a good AIO, but I wouldn’t get it solely because >Dell.
RapidMiner55
How tf did you manage to get that for 600
VengeanceBee
I bought one for 600usd actually
Its a piece of garbage remove the cpu and gpu and transplant it into another pc
The nvme is useful but the memory they come with sucks ass and the psu, mobo and case are garbage if something goes bad
I got mine for 600 and the power button took a shit right outside the warranty so goes to show how long it will last
MSantiAE86
Alienware or not that’s cheeeep
m0rph33n
The vid card alone is going to cost you more than what you would pay
veryjerry0
Take out the GPU+CPU you might just have arbitrage lol. Everything else inside looks like shit though, as expected.
Monkeycadeyn
That is in fact a crazy deal.
East_Engineering_583
Even if not upgradeable for 600 that’s an insane deal. The 4070ti alone costs more than that. Lucky you, OP
Bad_Hominid
It’s probably worth it for the GPU alone, but it depends on you. Are you going to use it as is or are you just harvesting its parts? I would only keep the CPU and GPU, that memory is garbage and that nvme is too small… so in my case I’d pass on it. You’ll find much better bundles at microcenter any day of the week, but that might not be an option for you.
szczszqweqwe
For 600 it’s in a “potential scam” category
metrohotness
$600 for that’s a steal
420headshotsniper69
Fuck ya it is. My jaw dropped when i saw the 3rd pic. Grab it if you have the $.
illicITparameters
For $600 I’m buying it and then buying a new case, mobo, and PSU.
Koolkat912
Beyond jealous.
NeedModdingHelp1531
I’d buy it and then get rid of the case.
ARG_Atomic
What I want to know is what this guy was taking the pics with cause in the reflection it does not look like a phone.
Icy-College9282
It’s so good that it might actually be a scam or the pc is fucked up in some way.
H7p3X
Wow, the 4070ti alone is already worth most of the whole build price. If it’s legit, grab it.
Benjamin_Berner
**Update: Final price is $730. Plus 15% fee and $3 lot fee.
Thank you all so much for the comments! I’ve learned a ton today.
$600 was my original limit.
TurdFerguson614
Pretty sure you can open up the rear of that curved top panel to alleviate much of the thermal issues.
CompetitiveGuess7642
people are dumb, dell makes perfectly good pc’s of course they have t o cut a few corners to make those cheapers but they are still well built and always nice to work with.
scraz
Get it and drill some speed/air holes in the front.
Dry-Percentage-5648
What can I say, for 600 that’s a great deal. Nothing wrong with it except that you’re stuck with mostly proprietary hardware and almost non existent airflow. If it’s not an issue for you then it’s fine, you do you.
Human_Recognition469
I thought they stopped using those awful cases
Improvisable
Well yeah when it’s being sold for much less than it’s typically sold at, it’s great
techsuppr0t
That’s rad, no shame for the price. Things still do look dope. I remember having one of their laptops it was an inch thick got super hot and loud but was my intro to having a gaming PC, and it was plenty at the time.
Comprehensive_Ship42
Buy it
billymaysv4
13700F w/ a 4070Ti for 600?? That’s a wild deal man fr. A 4070Ti, even after the Super edition was released, still cost around 700-750. Crazy deal
stevenbelfi
At $600 you’d be crazy to not buy it. The GPU alone is $600. Also I don’t think the general dislike of Alienware is related to poor quality. I believe the negative perceptions are due to very high retail prices for their products.
sirfannypack
If you live near a Micro Center, also consider checking them out.
Dig-a-tall-Monster
Buy it, then take the money you saved by not getting a different computer and go get:
– A new case with proper airflow
– A new motherboard
– A new cooler
Then transplant everything else from that Alienware into your new rig and enjoy a machine that doesn’t run at 90+ degrees Celsius like my Alienware Aurora R13 did.
