No, It was a downgrade. It has good features but why are there a lot of programs for the same task? like the control panel and having another one like for no reason and so on why?!

I was so happy when I deleted the factory Win11 on my laptop, installed it at 10, and the drivers from 11 started working at 10.

I’ve been sitting on some upgrades since March because they will put me into the hardware range for win11 and I’m worried my cat or toddler might just hit the upgrade feature on accident.

I’m sticking with W10 still support ends in Q4 2025. Its still a great OS, and there is no fundamental differences besides a more modern UI and slightly more modern futures.

Me. I liked upgrading to Windows 11 when it became available. Majority of the people on this sub might not like Windows 11 but I’m not one of them.
msd-ss
I’m doing my absolute best to never install it
Portalkuh
Privately, i won’t go to Win11. I rather stay together with an unsupported OS, then getting one, that doesn’t let you do your Work as an IT Specialist. Sadly.
RustHog
I upgraded the moment it was possible, day 1 beta test and I’ve never looked back.

Windows 10 will probably be my last Microsoft’s os

I’m sure there were some diehard fans who were excited to be the first to update when it came out.
At this point, I’m waiting until they stop releasing security updates for 10. Probably release 12 by then.

I did it because I knew I would be forced to in 2025, and I wanted to get ahead of it.
Worth it imo, it would have been even more of a headache if it wasn’t under my own terms.

I am still on Win 10. Intentionally disabled the tpm thing so it doesn’t update automatically.
Been thinking of upgrading. Should I ?

Mine went smoothly. But what I’m most proud and happier of them all has to be self-(cleaning and upgrading) my laptop and it’s storage.

This was me when I discovered Windows 10 automatically “upgraded” to Windows 11 in my incompatible Lenovo Yoga Book tablet, making it almost unusable, on my way to grab a big knife from the kitchen.

I’m stil using Windows 10 education because it’s the goat imo…
Used the windows key from my old school laptop, clean installed my PC multiple times and it always comes back.

Windows 11 continues to show problems especially in a corporate environment.
We will be looking at rolling back or even just nuking and reinstalling windows 10 fresh as windows 11 is a steaming pile of shit.
