Sad thing is, in polish social media I still see negative comments stating that game is crap, just because. Also, there’s lots of “give climbing” posts, “give next dlc”, “give something”, like facebook is some kind of wishing well XD

Honestly, a lot of the video seems to lack a team lead that has enough freedom from management to aggregate these issues and purposefully inject them back into the workflow. They seem pretty lost and although I know that a lot of issues pop up when running Software on customer devices, there’s also a lot of problems that they should have been very aware of.

Such a double-edged blade, it’s great to hold companies and devs accountable for selling garbage sometimes but it goes both ways and people can be really shitty for no reason online

Software is hard and there are humans on the other end of it. A lot of people take that for granted. The amount of work is insane, the stamina to try and build something great for years on end is truly a marathon. The people who stay in the industry love it to an unhealthy level and the feel the losses and wins that much harder. They know if it’s bad or not without people ragging on them and this clip shows that.
Personally I’m happy with where it landed because I didn’t get caught up in the early concepts or promises, years before they knew what they could actually deliver. In hindsight I am also glad to have bought an early copy if it in someway helped get us to where it is today. They could have just as easily cut their losses and left it in a really bad spot. Instead they banged out a decent DLC and fixed a bunch of issues that added a ton of value.
Could it be even better? Sure. But it is still one of the most addictive games and universes I’ve ever experienced. I look forward to the next installment.

Did they say that Gabe as in Gaben messaged them about the NPC pop-in bug? Anyone else here about this or are they talking about a different Gabe?
