Audigys are nice cards even by modern standards, shame there’s nowhere to plug them in nowadays

Interesting, are you planning on building a retro system?

You basically paid them for the privilege of getting rid of their e-waste.

damn, Creative Audigy FX, nice sound card. not exactly up to date with modern sound cards, but still.

I ran a Creative X-FI Titanium in my HTPC for a while to get clean, analog audio from the HTPC to the amplifier. And my main rig runs a Creative recon3D card for the main audio output. can’t complain, creative makes some really good sound hardware.

Pretty sure I had that Audigy sound blaster card too back in the day.

Worth it for the sound blaster card alone.

Tough crowd here. I’d love to find a decent AM2/+ board like that out in the wild, but I had to settle for eBay and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+. Oh well, not like I don’t find good stuff on eBay every now and then.
