   I wish proper left-handed controls existed. I customised mine for a left-handed firing button with a secondary smaller right-hand fire button, but sometimes, if I’m trying to both move and fire, the left side fire button press doesn’t register and I get killed.

   As for your question, I use #1, but I was thinking of trying out #3 just to see what the difference is.
