Doing some spring cleaning and found a picture of when I got my first very own computer. We always had PCs in the house but got a box of parts for Christmas that I had to put together myself.

I was already a bit nerdy, but this cemented it for me. Made a career out of it!

    I dont have a photo if my first PC build, but if there was one it would have been extremely similar!

    The first one i helped build was a 486 DX 66mhz, was my dads, i think my first personal machine was a AMD K6.

    So many jumpers and ugly flat cables, if you dont get your hardware and software right you can expect to wait a week for new stuff to show up to troubleshoot etc

    Fond memories, I also made my way into computing work! Hang in there fellow nerd, we will inherit the earth one day, *as it was written*

    Hmm…you would have been playing things like Civ, Wolfenstein 3d, Doom, Warcraft Orcs vs Humans, maaaaybe Diablo and Duke Nukem 3d.
