My first ever PC build. Looking for advice to improve my setup.

The lamp sitting on top of the drawer’s pretty ingenious but if you’re looking for something a bit neater, I’d recommend going for LED strips to stick behind the monitor, desk, etc.

If you’re looking for the functionality of a lamp, maybe go for a light bar that hangs over the monitor.

    Hi,

it’s hard to know what you mean exactly when you say that you want to improve your setup – do you mean visually, space wise or cable management etc.

I can only answer with what i’d improve in the setup, and that would be:

    – better cable management (run monitor cables along your monitor arm, zip tie other cables together and hide out of sight).

    – would move the pc further to the right, giving more space and a more ‘open’ feel.

    – try not to smoke near your PC as the smoke will eventually turn to sticky brown goop inside your pc case and stick to fans etc.

Better cable management. Maybe declutter some of the stuff on the right side by moving it off the desk to a different spot. And no smoking around the computer. That builds up on the parts from the fans sucking in the smoke. No judgment from smoking itself. I enjoy cigars. But not around my equipment.

Stop smoking in the same room as your PC if you don’t want everything in there being covered by brown goop

One half of your intake fans is being covered by that little drawer assembly the lamp is sitting on? Move that for a starter. Unless my eyes deceive me
