I know that death cams are not accurate due to player movement, lag, etc…
But please, I wasn't even on screen when he fired the gun. When I was in the game I felt that something wasn't right and the death cam proved me right.
And they said shotguns got a nerf.

I very highly doubt the person is cheating. The replay camera is horribly inaccurate, and it can be a major difference for what you see VS what the server counts as happening.
As far as what you saw for gameplay, look up peeker’s advantage. Also, they did nerf shot guns because they were performing too well outside of 10 meters inside 10 if they hit upper chest/head shot you drop in one hit because that’s what shotguns are made for
On his screen, bro, the crosshair was probably dead on your chest.
