From my experience, you’re going to need another if you’re heavy on gaming (multiple hours per day).
I really like this model (shape, sensor and weight) – but they don’t last that long (from my experience). I’m on my third one within almost a year or so (covered by warranty, so no issue there). Always the clickers that go. But I also use it *heavily*, maybe 8-10 hours per day, so definitely not a “general use-case”.

Wasn’t the V3 Pro, but the V3 HyperSpeed. My bad.

Yea keep the 2nd one aside for now. Youll need it in less than 2 years when the buttons go out on you. Ive owned two razer mice and the buttons always stop working properly after a year. I stopped buying their mice

My last Viper broke after 2 years. Don’t know about the v3, but it never hurts to have a backup.
Legally if they ask for it back you have to, so keep it in a box for a month (they probably won’t). If they don’t ask you don’t have to return it.
