  1. Sun?

This is hotter than the Big Bang in the first femtosecond of all time!

Your CPU die weighs about 0.3g, is made of mostly silicon, which has a heat capacity of 0.7J/g.K.

The amount of energy it has at this temperature can be calculated as:

    0.7J / 0.3g * 674221906386281506679°K

    = 1.42*10^20 J

Which is equivalent to 33.8*10^9 tons of TNT or 676 Tsar Bomba detonations.

The sun produces about 3.8*10^26 J of energy per second so this is about 2.7 microseconds worth of sun energy.

Sorry to ask, but what application do you use for monitoring your cpu?

The sun? My brother, your CPU is recreating the big bang.
