AMD just enjoy the show…

Sounds like AMD is now superior in Performance, Powermanagement, compability and stability

  2. Logical-Elephant2247

Cringe sub jerking off AMD every day lol

All the chads with a 7800X3D be like:

Thing is that, Intel tried so much to squeeze every last bit of performance in an attempt to beat AMD that they made their CPUs self destruct and very unstable. While the attempt it’s comprehensible, they sacrificed too much, instead they could have just left the CPUs slightly less powerful but cheaper.

Maybe Intel should ask the man in the mirror to change his ways.

Is 3d cache patented by amd? Or is intel to stubborn to use it?

Sad to see how intel loses opportunity … I love AMD but monopoly its a way to degradation … Like Microsoft windows now

    Do nothing.

Watch your competitor repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot.

    Guys, what’s this strategy called?

I got my 13th gen CPU right before the 7000 series CPUs were out, so I just went with what reviewers said was good at the time.

Updated my BIOS recently and altered everything to the Intel default profiles and thankfully there’s no performance differences in games. So I assume it’s mostly the higher end CPUs that we’re pulling a lot more power like the 13900k/14900k that were affected.

Still sucks though for those people who spent that much on a CPU.

Meanwhile the Radeon department is under the seat licking off the used gum

Idk if this is supposed to affect everyone or not but I never had any instability on my rig

Based on little research when planning on building PC I found few facts that favor Intel. No stupid corpo licking boots bs.

Biggest advantage you may have is memory runs at lower latency and faster on Intel things 2×16 DDR5 8000 CL38 only works with Intel memory controller and its now equal to fastest DDR4 when it comes to latency. AMD controller works to around 7400 for most hardcore users mostly stable.

For media encoding H264 the 14700k will finish work twice as fast as 7800x3D. So 10min file can be finished in 5min. Small advantage.

But Intel consumes 20-30% more power and its run +10c hotter.

Waiting to see next CPUs when I finally will build PC. My 5800h needs an upgrade.

They need to watch. They can’t do anything else. Considering toaster sales aren’t going that well.

Intel was king for too long, AMD made great products rivaling Intel, Intel completely fumbled it by making new CPUs worse, cause they stupidly panicked.

  15. cheeze87u

Except server Xeons and some cofee-lake for offices, intel has no viable products. It was a big company, yet very delulu

  16. multiwirth_

I remember when everyone made fun of AMD running hot and inefficient, drawing a lot of current and there even were reports of burned out VRMs on mainboards.
Seems like it’s the opposite these days.

  17. CallEither683

Not sure who the genius was who thought that 1.7v out of the box for the cpu was a good idea but damn.

Not really a mystery why their having stability issues

  18. awake283

The reason I picked AMD in my latest monstrosity is simply the thermals. I have no desire or want to try and cool an Core i9-14900K or similar.

  19. Firecracker048

If only the Radeon GPUs could manage to blow past nivida.

I know the HBM was the technology they thought could do it but really it’s just kinda been meh sense the R9 Fury

  20. ldontgeit

If only AMD could be on that position when it comes to their gpus.

  21. Alive_Comparison_190

Intel users like: “Hello darkness my old friend… “

  22. CurryLikesGaming

Seems like red is the favourable color now.

  23. Clenmila

Have not had any interest in Intel for years. It has especially gone downhill after the 10th gen.

  24. zaxanrazor

I don’t buy that performance loss as being realistic for 99% of users.

Considering even my 13600kf would throttle with stock settings on what was at the time the best aio available..

There’s no way that most people weren’t encountering thermal throttling on even more power hungry chips.

I’m fairly confident that people who use the recommended settings will actually see a performance uplift.

  26. That spec sheet that sold you on our cpu? Yeah so turns out we sorta like…lied about the whole thing. Oh and were demanding that mobo makers make up for our lies.

    -some douchebag intel exec

  27. yeah turns out making the chips pull fuck you watts from the wall and using the same process for however many years wasn’t the best idea
