Announcing that their June direct will not contain any Switch2 news and that will happen in this fiscal year is a perfectly appropriate thing to tweet out.
It’s not announcing/confirming the switch2. Everyone knows a successor is coming.
Managing our expectations a month ahead in a text release is fine and good. And necessary. We’re so close if they didn’t tell us I’d imagine the June direct would have info.

Honestly I appreciate this sort of straight forward clarity. It lays out a clearly defined game plan. So often you’ll see quotes that are either vague or intentional misrepresentation that the community just runs with. This is perfectly clear.
