don’t buy games in Early Access, it is an excuse for developers to sell unfinished products and then patch them in to playability over time
clush
Why is a sequel of this caliber from a dev who made so much money from H1 doing early access -_-;
Mirra1002
Full price, from the looks of it, and no achievements listed yet. I’ll wait, as much as I respect the developers and love the first game.

Guess I should probably get around to beating the original
DeadWrangler
Yesssss.
I’m going to need to get a second pet.

fuck…now I’m gonna have to get a steam deck. Not gonna wait another year for this to be Mac ported

I bought Cities: Skylines II and Kerbal Space Program 2 on the very first day of Early Access and I think I’ll wait at least till it gets a full release and/or major update with optimizations, tweaks and bug fixes.

Help me decide whether I should play in EA… I truly loved Hades and played in EA and had a lot of fun. Then a bit after launch I came back and had an amazing time hitting about 100 hours. Just don’t know if it might somehow hinder the “full end to end experience with all features at proper timing”.
Please disregard being morally against EA games… I don’t support bad developers selling trash as “EA” or preordering games for extras or FOMO. But Super Giant is a top 1% dev that has my trust and I will happily give them my money early for EA if I want to play it.
I’m trying to decide whether to just play it in full on release, or to get it now… can’t make my mind up!
Wow… this got longer than I expected

Need either a Steam Deck or some GeForce Now capability please!

Early access might be the worst thing to ever happen to gaming. For every success, like BG3, theres a fuck load of waste. Usually people get paid to be testers. Like living wage money. But now? Fuck you, you pay us to test our game. And we dont even promise to finish it. Not saying that will happen here, but fucking early access for everything these days is super annoying.

£25 for early access?? I loved the first one but no chance…
rockster82
Does buying early access mean you own the game when it goes live or do you have to buy it again?
MoeSzyslakMonobrow
If it’s even a mere shadow of how good the first game was, this is an instant buy.

I got into the alpha, will be paying the full price. It’s amazing. Super excited to get home today now!

Excited for the ignorant know-it-alls to come in here and say, “Early access bad!” After they themselves played Hades 1 and Baldurs Gate 3.
EfficiencyOk9060
Eh, I’ll wait for the full release.

Hades seemed successful enough for them not to have to do this EA bullshit. What a wet fart of a launch. They should have the resources to test their own game this time around. “Early access” feels like a hair across my ass.

Will wait the real release, this is not the kind of game where early access seems good in my opinion. They could have tested it internally and shipped a correct product

I can’t believe people seem to be flagging the price as an issue? Hades 1 gave me more enjoyment than multiple 60-70 releases when I did eventually get my teeth sunk into it. I’ve got zero doubts Hades 2 will do the same.
I’m just not buying it because I think for most consumers, buying ‘Early Access’ is not worth while. The game won’t run away, I’ll just forget about it and pick it up when it’s fully launched.

Anyone know of hades 2 will be on Xbox game pass?
Kizenny
Easy purchase for me
Logical-Elephant2247
Early Access? See you when it releases, not touching unfinished games.
DroopyDachi
So does this mean the game isn’t finished?
PeanutNSFWandJelly
I should probably finish the first one. I bought it on release and barely played any of it.
Sprinkle_Puff
I wonder why it’s called Hades when he isn’t in it

Just torrenting it. Of I mean buying definitely not torrenting 😉
