Bro get ghelper. Armory crate sucks. Also undervolt your cpu and get a laptop cooling stand. And wait for winter. Usually ambient temperature also matters
I mean 40 degrees room temperature is pretty hot. I also see 29% CPU usage, which is quite a bit. The high room temperature and 29% CPU usage combines might explain the high temperature already.

I’m guessing there’s a massive turbo power increase allowance on these, just like 8th and 9th gen had. Drop it to like 25 watts. You’ll probably lose 100mhz or 200mhz off the peak of turbo at most but have huge power/heat savings. Use Intel XTU to play around with this.

Laptops are designed to go high on temperature, goal being *portable* and *quiet* and stuff

seeing it runs 56 idle it all fits in. the thing is most test cases or comparisons have 22°C or so ambient.
relative air humidity also plays part in heat transferring.

It’s normal. Your room is hot like a hell, your tiny fans and tubes inside laptop trying to cool your CPU using hit air.
But don’t worry, laptops designed to work like that. CPU will be OK all the time being 80-90°C, same with GPU.
By the way, PC easy to cool, and often we see lower temperatures in PC, but nothing wrong will happening with PC if CPU and GPU so hot too.
Both humidity and high ambient temperature make it hard to cool stuff, you’re just gonna have to live with it I’m afraid

Switch away from Turbo mode in Armory Crate.
Get one of those external laptop coolers. It’s like a little desk stand that plugs in and helps it keep cool. You set the laptop on it during use.
well, laptops are notorious for running hot, especially under harsh conditions. you are “fucked” as far as that you cannot really use it, but i think the machine should survive it.
Air conditioning helps my console reaches low digress, but i wear a jacket👍🐔

As a Malaysian i can relate to this kind of room temperature, even with windows open its easily 35c-37c
