If you care about mods, laptop. If you don’t, PS5.

  2. Laptop if you want mods, PS5 if you want your heart pulled from your chest then put back in and pulled from your ass afterwards.

EDIT: you will get and understand it all in ‘the end’ and then still be asking questions ‘in the end’.

I don’t have a PS5, but I’d assume you’ll get better longevity there than on the laptop? But like other people have said, if you wanna spice up your game with mods then PC (or in your case, a laptop) will be the way to go.

Thanks all! I don’t really care about Mods and more just the story/gameplay experience – gonna pull the trigger and get a ps5

Depends, if you got a newer laptop and can enjoy the graphics and possibly run mods then laptop. Otherwise ps5

Depend if you have full accessibility of your house get the laptop, since you could also use it to connect to your tv via cable. And being on windows you could also use it to sail the high seas!

I’d say PS5 version if it’s between it and a gaming laptop, and you don’t care about mods. I had a gaming laptop for a few years, and gaming on it was frustrating at times. It just took up too much space, and it got pretty loud on graphically intense games. I got a desktop pc that I game on now, but I’ll still likely get a ps5 at some point for exclusives and gaming on a console just has a different vibe for me.

  8. Why not just buy a dualsense and use it with the laptop…? You’re spending a lot of money on a new console for a game you already own…

I have a laptop and a huge TV that I can connect to HDMI. Additionally, I have an Xbox controller.

In my case, I suggest going with the laptop. You will still be able to play many games from PC, and that will be much cheaper than a PS5.

However, the downside is that some exclusives won’t be available until they are released on PC.

Furthermore, having a laptop means you’re mobile, and you can play anywhere you like. But with a PS5, this “baby” should stay in one place.

I think gaming on a laptop must be a type of torture in hell

You got a decent laptop already, ps5 is a waste of money. Especially since Sony now also releases their games on pc. Pc has way more freedom and games and they are usually cheaper

  12. Laptop. The graphics will be better with more FPS, and playing WASD with mouse is the best experience.

  13. My go to is first person shooters are better to play on mouse and keyboard, and 3D person and driving games are better played on controllor

Bruh the graphics for cp2077 are far superior on pc or laptop. It’s watered down on console

Hmm Laptop. Not just mods but your laptop is definitely stronger than a PS5. Especially with the fsr3 mod you can easily get high frames without ray tracing at 1080p you’re looking at 100 fps with the fsr3 mod and DLSS.

Even a 3060 laptop is about as good as a ps5 if not better. I have a 3070 laptop. I played ultra with ray tracing with the fsr 3 mod at around 100 fps with quite a few mods (not graphical I like vanilla). However the the TDP of your GPU is probably a downside, so maybe stick to ps5.

What about a micro pc that you can plug into the tv? Smaller than a PS5 and with the right spec better?
