I get what you were going for, but cowboy hats and surfing were weird things to fixate on given the concentration of stores in the northeast where neither of those things are prevalent.

What kills me the most is not the fact there are no microcenters here, but the VAT part we europeans get. Then obviously all the import fees and distribution costs too, but that happens over there too, even tho in a more “controlled” manner than here.

Closest thing us Aussies have to micro centre is MSY. But you can’t browse there, you sit at a desk and have the employee scroll you through the website.

Me an American, who has to make his annual trips to the nearest Microcenter almost three hours away – but gets to stop at the Buc-ee’s that’s on the way there so I can stock up on enough Brisket, sausage, fudge, & beaver nuggets to last a week or two
Edit: now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure last time I went I seen cowboy hats with that beaver on them for sale
