I have never owned a pc and I don’t know much! Lately I’ve been looking into buying a second hand rig off my local FacebookMarketplace. I’m curious if anyone could tell me what kind of questions I should ask, and if this pc is a good deal for price/specs. I’m not necessarily interested in running games on ultra/max settings, but I’d like to be able to run newer games at a decent setting. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello BadWorldGoodKid, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

It’s ok not the best not the worst but if you buy it I’d suggest getting a different psu and put it in as I don’t think people should use thermal take a
Psu
For a 1080p system it’s not a bad deal
Just don’t expect to really do a lot more than that
The system power is extremely weighted to the GPU here over the CPU
If it’s something you want to eventually upgrade, I would suggest just starting with a new build instead
So, using PC part picker, I built this system with the specs you listed. Not counting a cheap case, kb, mouse or monitor. Since you didn’t list those. Total came out to $889.84. Throw another few hundred for the cheapest missing unlisted gear and you are looking at around $1200 bucks for a basic gaming PC. Those would all be brand new parts. Is this machine new or is it his old machine he is now trying to sell off after upgrading? Be very careful about getting PC equipment second hand from online market places. If it were me, I would just Wait, save up some more cash and buy new from a reputable seller like new egg or the like. This system is built with pretty much the most basic parts at the cheapest levels. The mobo when originally released required a BIOS update to even run that CPU. So this is probably not a new rig. That being said.
This will play mid range games at medium quality, but will lag on games with higher end requirements, even at medium settings more often than not. It really just depends on the game.
What monitor does it come with, if it comes with one? What keyboard, what mouse? What rating is that 600 watt PSU (gold, platinum)? It’s the PSU modular? What cooler on the CPU? Which brand/model of the 3060ti GPU? What case does it come in? How clean does it look inside? Lots of dust, just a little? What operating system? Is it up and running so you can see it in action? Can you test it out before committing to purchase? Where and when were the parts purchased?
