What do you think? Would you buy it for this price? I have two empty sata bays kinda bought it just to fill one 🤷 I can move some games off my nvme to make room for the small 4k video projects I work with. The real dream is a 4tb nvme for the second m2 slot. Not any time soon though. Gotta have dreams.

    That’s a pretty good price. Even the cheaper brands of SSDs on amazon aren’t quite that cheap per GB.

    Sucks for me, the local walmart for one doesn’t ever seem to in any sort of rush to keep storage drives shelves stocked in the years I’ve lived here. Also they are also in the middle of a store remodel right now anyway so the whole store is just a mess. I’ve just spent my loose cash on a cpu upgrade that I’m waiting to arrive.

    25$ for a 500GB SATA SSD is an OK price. Nothing crazy though.

    Just picked up an SN770 500GB for $17 and a WD Blue 1TB 2.5″ SSD for $40. Great upgrade for my media center PC

    Went to my walmart, couldn’t find the display for them so asked the employee, he laughed and said “they don’t got much of anything”. The way he laughed, I know he bought all the good ones.

    If you’re in the Grand Rapids, MI area… 54th St still had 2 1TB drives for $39. Cascade Walmart didn’t have deep discounts, they do have drives, but not super cheap. The 8TB WD Black is $108, still a good deal, 4 in stock.

    edit, Don’t bother with Muskegon(s) or Grand Haven, sold out. I don’t know about Holland, not on my route.

    Can confirm. Got a 4TB HDD for $51 yesterday. Looks like my Plex server is back on the menu.
