purchased the cpu on mid 2023, run cb r23 several times on stock and pbo settings. i was satisfied that i got the results similar to the advertised boost clock and website scores, so i decided to call it a day and carry on.
then a few months later i noticed that my cpu idle temp is around 50-55 degrees at relatively low clock speed. i got below average cb r23 scores as you can see on the test above. after reinstalling windows, the high idle temp issue is fixed, but i still can’t get my cpu to boost properly on stock settings.
i gave up months ago after spending hours trying to find answers on reddit, amd forums, discord servers and even from amd & gigabyte tech support themselves. right now i’m settled with pbo & motherboard auto settings, got stable 4449-4450mhz and 11200 cb23 score, but since i have some free time at the moment i decided to give it another try on this sub.
