    Yes, I just replaced the stock shunt resistor with one of half its original resistance. This would, in theory, nearly double the board power limit to something like 400W (depending on how much power is actually drawn from the PCIE slot.) I used a hot air rework station, and I wouldn’t recommend it. These high-end PCBs can soak up so much heat that it took much longer than expected. I was only able to avoid damage through precautions like masking the smallest SMDs with kapton tape and aluminum foil. And honestly, I don’t know that I can trust my replacement resistor is still in spec, because I had to keep it so hot for so long. I did some preheating of the card with the rework station, but an oven would have probably yielded better results.

    This card is taking on a bykski water block with some high performance thermal pads on the memory/VRMs and kryosheet on the die.
