I was wondering, is it more worth using it as soon as possible to gain vantage or waiting until late game?

I would say get the muzzle break and mini drum as soon as you have enuf as you’ll have early advantage over opponents

Depends on what build you’re using. I’ll normally grab a drum mag and ergonomic grip for my AR, i prefer using suppressors over the muzzle brake, but that’s just me

I think it depends on the moment but I always use it at the beginning to get an advantage

First of all, it’s ADvantage you need. For vantage, gain elevation over your enemies 😋

Now, onto the matter at hand. Frankly, I think it entirely depends on your situation. Sometimes it might be necessary to get to the shop quickly, because your initial looting went poorly, with you collecting more money than equipment. Sometimes you’ll be pretty tooled up a couple of minutes after landing, so it won’t be as desperately important, and you might not find much cash in any case, so you can’t do too much even if you get to the vending machine.

Realistically, it is perfectly possible to win fights against people with better gear, by simply being more accurate, faster to switch targets, and attacking with the advantages of surprise and position, so it isn’t CRUCIAL to get to a shop, to have a drum mag, or a better foregrip, or whatever. It’s NICE to have that stuff, but it isn’t essential. What IS essential is getting the basics right, and concentrating on those exclusively, only considering the shop as a convenience, to be taken advantage of if you happen to be in possession of coin and in a location that makes visiting the shop a trivial effort.

Remember, shops concentrate attention. If myself and my squad are roaming, we’re checking air drops, shops and event locations to see if any other players are around, because we know that it is common to find people at those locations, so any time you visit one of those, you need to take into consideration the fact that you may be putting yourself at risk that is greater than the potential payoff. Yes, having a drum mag is handy, but it is significantly less handy if you get ventilated with an AWM or AMR just after grabbing it, because someone got the drop on you, having scouted a commonly visited location.

Also, and I don’t mean to be flippant, but it is less of a hassle to just kill geared players and take their stuff, than it is to go shopping for specific equipment.

Rotations, positioning, cover and concealment, these are the priority. They always will be, because those things win fights and games. Gear not so much.

I pretty much only use it to buy scopes if I can’t find any that are worth a damn. Otherwise I’m not too picky and will build with what I find.

Always go for an AR suppressor and a Sniper suppressor, 30 tokens, easy to find if you drop around school

Get the attachments for your gun. The rest can be stolen from kills as you play
