To enter, please share your favorite computer accessory (if that happens to be a mechanical keyboard, I’d love to know some more specifics about it)! If you don’t want to answer that, that’s fine too—any top-level response will be entered into the drawing. Winners will be selected with RedditRaffler on Thursday, April 25th, at 3pm CDT. RedditRaffler will give two winners at the same time, listed side by side; the winner on the *left* will win the Grand Prize, and the winner on the *right* will win the Runner Up prize.
How to enter:
* Comment on this post with your favorite computer accessory, or anything at all! (top-level, not a response to this comment – I cannot stress this enough, you must respond to the post, so that your comment is the same level as this comment that I’m writing right now, not nested in response to this comment! This is so that RedditRaffler can identify the comment properly)
* Worldwide shipping is included and paid by us (international winners responsible for any applicable VAT/taxes). Note that there are some countries our shipping couriers are physically unable to ship to; if your country is not in the list at the bottom of [this helpdesk article](https://helpdesk.drop.com/hc/en-us/articles/25229571089805-Why-isn-t-every-product-available-internationally), you would need to find a forwarding service for the prize.

My favorite computer accessories are custom mechanical keyboards. I currently useing a modded RK61 Pro, and a Keychron Q1 Pro. I used to use my laptop keyboard, then I switched to a cheap gaming mechanical keyboard, and then I got my RK61 Pro and Q1 Pro.
If you haven’t tried a custom keyboard before, I highly recommend it! Its literally a game changer and (in my experience) improved your typing speed and confort. Part of the fun is building and/or modding it, and another part of the fun is using the keyboard, and enjoying each key press.
Here are some more details about my keyboards:
I first used my M1 Macbook Air keyboard. After joining the PCMR, I got a G910 keyboard, and although the switches felt better, the stabs were AWFUL. I then bought a RK61 Pro (which is a full metal version of a RK61) as my first custom keyboard and last Christmas, my GF got my a Keychron Q1 Pro w/ Banana Switches

I also have in queue a Nuphy Gem 80 with Gateron greyish tactiles. Just waiting on a set of Retro Mixed Lights R2 keycaps I got on the rerelease earlier this month, so I’ll be excited when that comes in!

My favorite accessory is a mech keyboard a friend who is deep into the hobby gave me. I have no idea the specs, but he said it was expensive, it feels nice to type on and it weighs a ton. It made me buy a switch sampler to try to find something I really like to build my own.
Da_Plague22
Headphones are my favorite as I’m a big music lover.
I’m thinking about doing a heavy investment in some really good audio gear.

I recently bought my first mechanical keyboard, and I love it. It’s a HyperX Alloy Origins. But my favorite peripheral is my mouse, Logitech G703 that I improved myself after 2 and a half years of using it as it was. I replaced the battery with a bigger one – the original was 280Mah if I remember correctly, with my settings – 50% brightness for leds and 4500dpi was going for about 2, or even 3 weeks for a single charge(I’m not at home most of the day…work…), the new battery has 1200Mah, I replaced it on 24 march and it still has 70%…so I think it’s good for 3 months for a single charge. I also replaced the encoder(the old one had some troubles while scrolling), I opted for TTC silver…did some soldering, and it’s great now, even a better feel. I replaced the wheel too with an original one, I also bought boards with hot swap for switches(no need for soldering), and of course, new switches(I opted for Kailh GM 8.0 – 80 million clicks lifetime, but I also have some Huano yellow switches with 120 million clicks lifespan for backup), new mouse skates, and some grip skins(made from 2 different packs of skins, because one of them was for another model, but I cut them to fit, I could not find skins that cover the upper part and palm, only sides and buttons for my model so that’s why I bought 2 packs, one for my model, one for another and made them work together). Everything costed me about 50-60 euros in total from Aliexpress lol, but it was worth it just for fun and a good upgrade. Here’s a pic:
The best thing I got for my Setup was a little DIY Macropad. It helps so much with daily stuff, like changening lights via HomeAssistant muting and unmuting, do not disturb or changing other different stuff.

Got to be my wireless headphones, had a wired Nubwo previously but switched to a G435 and never looked back.
