We might even be able to play without cheaters.

Nothing said that is substantial. Same stuff that’s been said for years.
I’ll believe it when I see it. They’ve been working on console anti-cheat for over 5 years now.
You really can’t trust what they say. U/Tilliperuna proved that their anti-cheat newsletters/posts do not include console bans despite community managers assuring us that they do.
If they actually cared they would bring back PUBG Shield.
You ought to know better. They aren’t doing anything. PUBG support’s own website isn’t even responding to reports made through tickets submitted directly to them. You can send a YouTube video of someone MNK’ing on console, showing their hand using the MNK, and will get an automated response asking for more data. No matter how you respond, they close the ticket without anyone ever viewing it, and the cheaters keep cheating.
The developers don’t give two shits about cheating on console. It’s free to play, and the Cronus/Strike Pack/MnK players are the try hards out there dumping money every season to buy the K-pop skins and stupid cars.
They don’t give a fuck. Unless Microsoft solves the problem, it will never be solved.
thats something someone would say if they were put on the spot. no matter if they had plans to do anything about it or not. they cant just go and say they are doing nothing.
