I believe that’s the cordless version. Instead of using PCIe power cables, that connects to the motherboard and draws all the power the GPU needs. However, it only works with special motherboards.

if they can use this to deliver up to 600w

i wonder why its not become more standard, guess mobo makers dont wanna play ball

you could power a 4090 with no issue

certainly a better way to deliver power than that horrid 12vhpwr

Power. Have you tried reading the manual?

That’s a BTF (Back to Future) card. It goes with ASUS’s whole back to future lineup. Which is meant for hiding cables in the back. So that connector delivers power to the GPU rather than using a cable like a normal GPU uses

This is their BTF model, not the standard TUF model. It is designed to be used with their BTF motherboard. That connector slots into a power slot on the motherboard, supplying up to 600w of power with no visible cables and nothing plugged into the GPU.

Proprietary connection for only their specific motherboard for power delivery so you don’t need pcie power cables. Cool concept zero adoption from anyone so there isn’t an upgrade path.
