Tbh I regret a bit getting 14700kf instead of 7800x3d bc, 7800x3d doesn't get that hot at 100% and it has similar performance.
I didn't expect that 360aio will be not enough to cool i7 at 100%(and my case won't fit 420 aio btw)
You can under voltage it you know? This will reduce the heat with out lowering the performance.

I mean I got a water cooler for 80 bucks and it hasn’t gone over 70s while gaming, you might want to check if your cooling equipment is working proper

I have a 14700k, no issues with a 240mm AIO.
You got it configured right?

Don’t say anything good about an amd chip. It brings out all the people who must constantly defend their choice to go Intel.
Even if it means lying to us and themselves lol.

My last Intel chip was a 4570K. It was a good chip. I see no reason to ever go back.

i mean, people said that about 13th gen too. im currently other, in a live multi video chat room, and playing game at the same time, and my chipset temp is fluctuating between 37 and 42C
in assassins creed, max settings, unlocked, it goes up to 60C
it only gets hot if you run prime95 and why would you want to do that unless your a masochist?
yes, you can get a shit ton of heat out of it, , but only becasue you can get a shit ton of utility out of it, for normal usage, its absolutely fine

Have i7-14700K with 280mm AIO. Never had an issue. Overblown issues are clickbait.

lol you can keep a 14700k from throttling with a good air cooler. U are doing something wrong
50 degrees gaming, 75 degrees torturing, fans don’t ever spool past 50% duty.
Did you…did you take the plate sticker off?
