I see a lot of posts about the silicone lottery, and I'm wondering if maybe I've won. As far as I can tell, I have an MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 4070 2x OC (I bought a pre built PC and all it says is that it's an RTX 4070. Mine looks exactly like this though)
According to MSI's website, it should have a base clock speed of 2505 and a boost clock speed of 2520. After testing, mine does in fact have a base clock speed of 2505, but under load it goes well into the 2800s. I did some overclocking on it and I managed to get it to 3105 at Max load.
I use Forza Horizon 5 as a benchmark for gaming because that's what this PC is for, gaming. Forza Horizon 5 is the absolute hardest on my system. I noticed when overclocking, if it can survive the Forza benchmark at max settings (everything at extreme, DLAA enabled, frame generator on+ boost), for more than 20 minutes, then it's good in every other game.
So my question is, is this normal? Expected? Or did I get really lucky?

Most likely not gonna stable for tensor cores, gonna crash in heavy RT scenarios, but average for rasterisation workload
