I think this is a returned product and the person who bought it before you put their own ram inside and kept the 32 for themselves.

And by doing it professionally (If he did it by paying attention to the tapes, it is unlikely that you would be suspicious.)

    EDIT;
Even the model numbers on the rams do not match.

    I’m 100% more suspicious.

  2. Looks like someone else abused the returns and got a free upgrade. I’m sure their cs will take care of it.

I stopped ordering from Amazon for this reason. Nearly anything I buy from the manufacturer now because even Newegg has allowed these third party scam sites to sell on their site.

Why I don’t buy PC parts on Amazon no more. Humans are assholes.

Just go to your Amazon orders page and imitate a return and replacement

Amazon is not the place to buy computer parts. Or anything of value.

  7. Just buy another one and return this so they can’t send you the same. Fixed

Send it back, different timings, ver. 3.32 is from Micron, ver. 4.32 is from Samsung. Even if you use them, they will fight each other.

Reason I film the unpacking of packages.
It always serves as hard evidence if needed.

Looks more like the classic amazon switch and return scam. Just dont order pc parts from amazon honestly this is all to common with gpus, cpus, and ram.

Amazon delivered my ram to the right house number but the wrong street name, they did not allow me to refund because I needed proof, the delivery driver marked the delivery including the wrong street name????????

I thought for a second that first stick had broken pins in the middle

you dumbsacks keep buying from amazon despite several posts.

    i hate that they mark a stick as 16gb when it’s a 2×8 kit.

made it really hard to just grab stuff and go without having to read when i was refurbing like 40 computers last year

You got fraud swapped. Someone else bought this new and returned a different item. Same thing happened to me when I bought a Corsair 115i Elite AIO. Someone swapped the Elite version with the generic pump version. The box was shrink wrapped too so I thought it was brand new.
